About 20% of people who suffer from migraine headaches will have an aura about 20 minutes to an hour before the pain. They may see flashing lights, wavy lines or dots, or they may have blurry vision or blind spots. It can also include slight dizziness and ringing in the ears. Some people will get the aura with no headache. We cannot know if this is what you had. If you are concerned or it happens again, see your doctor, preferably an eye doctor.
