Hello! I have had multiple surgeries on my right ankle, and am now 12 months since the last one. I have a tibiotalocalcaneal fusion (ankle, and then subtalar joint). Still walking mostly with the cane, as I have so much stiffness and pain the the right knee and hip. Anyone else out there have tips to help in easing the impact of walking? I have custom orthotics and good shoes. Thank you!

Hello Anon

Thank you writing!

I'm not sure if our busy ankle fusion community brought you to EmpowHER but your best bet is to seek advice there (cut and paste link): https://www.empowher.com/community/share/ankle-fusion-i-know-i%E2%80%99m-not-alone
You can also read a lot of stories and experiences in that link.

Best,
