well im 32 and my tubes have been tied for 4 years and it's been almost 2 months since my last menstral cycle although I had asmall amount of light brown spotting around the time that I would have normally had my period

It sounds like it's very possible that the light brown spotting was your period. A variety of things can cause abnormal periods including stress, medications, travel, illness, excessive weight gain or weight loss, and birth control.

Although there have been cases where women get pregnant after having their tubes tied, it is very rare and unlikely. It sounds like the light spotting was your period. However, if your period continues to be abnormal, I suggest talking with your doctor to find out exactly what is going on.
