Hi, Last week I had surgery done and my doctor removed something called dermatofibroma and this morning I realized something new formed on my skin and I don't even know what it is and it's very itchy and it burns. I'm scared these things keeps on forming on my skin. I'm going to see my doctor in a week for this matter and meanwhile waiting like this I'm really scared. It looks like it's something that you can just pop it. It feels very tender, bumpy and awkward. It rubs against my shirt and bothers me like this. What do you think this can mean? Please let me know.

I think that's a good idea you scheduled an appointment with your doctor to check out the bump. They will be able to thoroughly check it out and determine the best way to treat it.
Even though it looks like you can pop the bump, I would not do that. Popping it and touching it frequently might irritate it further and make it worse.
Have you had bumps like this appear on your skin before? Dermatofibroma is common among many people. Sometimes more than one may appear at a time, so it is very likely that may be the case. Does this bump look similar to the other one you had removed?

If these bumps continue showing up, it may be a good idea to see a dermatologist as they specialize in skin treatment. They may be able to help you find a topical treatment for your skin that can help with this.

Thank you for your reply. I wouldn't touch it at all these things bothers me to even look at so I covered it with a bandage. I never had such thing on my skin I don't even know what it is. It looks completely different from the one I had removed. I will wait to see my doctor which is next week.
