The endocrine glands of the body's endocrine system produce hormones.
The major endocrine glands are the pituitary, pineal, thymus, thyroid, adrenal glands and pancreas. In addition, men produce hormones in their testes and women produce them in their ovaries.

Laboratory tests can measure the hormone levels in your blood, urine or saliva. Specific blood tests measure specific hormone levels. What is the best blood test --all depends on what hormone you want to check the level of.
