Dear Anon

Thanks for your question and welcome. This is a great question and I'm sure it'll also help other men and women who have the same concerns.

The good news is that yes, it's possible to get pregnant and give birth safely, despite an acetabular fracture.

According to one of our experts, Dr. Brian Mullis, M.D., "It’s possible and since an acetabular fracture really is talking more about the hip joint than the pelvis, it really doesn’t affect childbirth. "

We have an entire series of short videos (26 in total, ranging about 30 seconds each but you can simply read the text underneath, if you prefer) on the subject of this very kind of fracture. Your question is answered on video 3/26. You can start with them here: http://www.empowher.com/media/video/video-dr-mullis-acetabular-fracture-can-it-be-treated-external-fixation

What do you think?
