-Took ECP 13 hours later, bled for a week 3 days after taking
-Took a urine pregnancy test after 6 weeks in the afternoon, negative result
-Doctor prescribed me Norethisterone for 5 days

Usually a woman's egg stays alive for 12-24 or 48 hours max but if the sperm and egg meet on those 2 days a chemical reaction happens and pregnancy symptoms kick in week by week. Also a males sperm can live for up to 3-5 days in a woman's vagina. Hope I could have helped.

Hello Anonymous,

There is no chance that you are currently pregnant. You had vaginal bleeding after taking an emergency contraceptive pill and again after a five day course of Norethisterone.

Regards,

Maryann
