I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2016. I have been having chest pains, tired, fever, muscle aches, coughs and vision problems. I am still trying to understand the disease and the symptoms.

Johnette,

Thank you for your post and welcome to EmpowHer.

Sarcoidosis symptoms during a flare up include:

Persistent cough
Shortness of breath
A vague feeling of discomfort and fatigue
Fever
Weight loss
Small red bumps on your face, arms or buttocks
Red, watery eyes
Arthritis in your ankles, elbows, wrists and hands, commonly associated with bumps in the skin over your shins (erythema nodosum)

Based on what you said you have been experiencing, it sounds like you may have been experiencing symptoms of the illness. Sometimes these flare ups come and go right away, other times they may linger for a while. If you have been experiencing the symptoms for over a month, I'd recommend visiting your primary physician.

I hope this answers your question-- best wishes!
