After giving birth to my first daughter I quickly lost the baby weight, but have continued to lose. I am now smaller then I have been since middle school. I do have stress in my life, but nothing I haven't been handeling. I eat often and nutrisious foods but cannot put on weight. I have looked into hyperthyroid, but one symptom I greatly differ from. People are usually hot, I am always freezing!

Hi Ashleybme - Thanks for your question and for seeking information. When was the last time that you saw a health provider and had a well-woman exam? The facts you've mentioned - loss of weight and always feeling cold - need to be discussed with a medical professional. It's impossible for EmpowHER, or any website, to diagnose what you're dealing with and you need to talk to a trained professional. Here's why - constantly feeling cold could be an indicator of poor circulation of your blood. There are several medical conditions that can cause this, for example - heart disease. I am NOT saying that this is what you have, I am only using this as an example of why you need to not let this linger and need to be seen by a medical professional. Your baby depends on you, and we'd like your health to be the best possible. Are you able to schedule a check-up?
