Maryann Gromisch RN Guide

A blood clot causes blockage of a vein or artery. The blockage obstructs blood flow. Resulting symptoms include pain, swelling and decreased function.
You cannot feel a blood clot. Make an appointment with your physician to have the lump evaluated.
