Q:

What are these symptoms I am experiencing? Could I possibly be pregnant, even though I've never had sexual intercourse?

Hello. I'm 17 years old and I am on birth control pills. I have been for about two years, but haven't taken them very correctly until these last couple of months. On February 1st, my boyfriend and I fooled around. I'm sorry if the following is inappropriate, but I want to give as much detail as possible to get an accurate answer...

We did the usual: dry humped (I had thin spandex shorts on with thin underwear, and he had boxers and gym shorts. I remember being really "wet" to the point it leaked through my shorts.) After that, we laid next to each other and started touching each other. His penis was out next to me, and he was touching me. Then, he fingered me and afterward I finished him. We laid there for a few minutes and then washed our hands. I went to the bathroom that night and noticed some spotting, and then for the next 4-5 days I had my period minus the cramps (which was odd for me.) I was nervous but I just cracked it up to the birth control pills working how they were supposed to because at that point I was taking them correctly.

So, my period lasted until February 5th, and I have been tracking it in an app ever since. My bf and I have fooled around three times including the 1st, 14th and one other day before the 13th in which I can't remember. However, I am concerned that I might be pregnant because of some of the symptoms I'm experiencing. It is now the 21st (about 20 days after the 1st) and for the last 4-5 days I have had noticable nipple tenderness and soreness to the touch. They also look very swollen. I remember having some breast tenderness in past cycles but never like this. I don't know if my mind is just making me feel these things because I'm so stressed out, but I also feel a bit queasy at times (which could be from stress).. However, I am worried that perhaps pre-ejaculation could have gotten inside of me by my partner's fingers and impregnate me. I know for a fact that there was never a heavy amount or any amount of actual wet ejaculation that has ever went inside of me. But because pre-ejaculation is harder to detect, I am worried that it might have also gotten inside of me through dry humping because of how wet I was even though we had clothes on.

I am sorry if this sounds crazy- I am just super scared and paranoid. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday to talk to her about the breast tenderness and lack of cramps from my period this month. I don't know if I should tell her to test me for pregnancy while I am there, or if I should buy my own test today. It wouldn't be too early would it? I am due for my period in about a week and a few days (according to my pills) but I don't think nipple tenderness happens this early and lasts for 4-5 days.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I guess my biggest question is: Is there any possible way I could be pregnant just from pre-ejaculation, while on the pill with no penetration... or could these just be symptoms of taking my pill correctly... Again, I am sorry for any inconvience and would seriously appreciate some reassurance. Thank you all from Empowher that help confused and stressed women like myself find some peace in mind. (Also... someone on yahoo told me I should see a psychatrist because I am obsessing over this.. so I think I will ask for a referral from my doctor and discontinue sexual activity until I am a lot more educated, and older.) Thank you all again.
