Hi Kenize

Thank you for this question - it's a great one!

There are a few good ways to do this:

Co-workers - ask them for references, their experiences and the pros and cons to their chosen health care providers.

Family and friends - they will also be a great resource.

Women's groups: there are many online groups for women and mothers who talk about their health care concerns and options. While not all sources will be fully reliable, it's a good way to find information.

Support groups:

Doctor and hospital bulletin boards and well as internet resources will give you a plethora of women's support groups for various health conditions and lifestyles.

If OB/GYN support is what you are looking for, or a good primary doctor, mental health professionals or auto-immune condition specialist, then support groups are one of the best resources, even if you are not suffering any particular condition.

Groups that talk about homeopathic specialists will have lots of information too.

Has this helped, Kenzie?
