Hi Bubbles

This depends entirely on your situation and any symptoms you have going. However, there are recommended health screening tests for those over 50. The Lab Tests Online site has a nice little overview: http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/wellness/e_over50_1.html. The list includes breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer as well as diabetes, cholesterol, HIV, osteoporosis, thyroid. Most of these are not blood tests. Often with a physical exam there will be labs done including a CBC and chemistry panel. These check for inflammation, infection, anemia, and organ function. But again, it depends on your history.

I hope this helps you. Thanks for visiting the site.
