what can cause extra white matter in the brain?

mri showed i have more white brain matter than i should. i am also dealing with vertigo for 3 months.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  White matter in the brain refers to the fiber tracts that carry information to and from the brain.   What was the reason your doctor had you do an MRI?  Sometimes an MRI is done, if the doctor suspect MS. White matter lesions can also be seen in numerous conditions and they are more commonly seen as we grow older.
