Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us for advice.

When did the pain start? What were you doing at the time the pain started? Is the pain constant or does it come and go? Have you noticed a lump or swelling under your arm?

Considering your family history of breast cancer, please call your primary care physician today and report this.

Generally, breast pain is not a sign of breast cancer. It is possible that a cyst or enlarged lymph node is putting pressure on a nerve and causing pain. Or you may have pulled a muscle in the area of your right breast.

Better to get it checked out.

Regards,
Maryann
