Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

The cause could be a sinus infection or inflammation of the sinus cavity secondary to a response to an allergen.

Nasacort is a steroid medication. Steroids can increase the risk for infection. If you have a sinus infection, Nasacort will make the situation worse.

Anonymous, are you having any other symptoms, such as watery eyes, a thick,yellow-green nasal discharge or runny nose? Seriously consider scheduling an appointment with an ENT (ear nose and throat) specialist. Avoid self-medicating until you know the cause of this pain.

Regards,
Maryann
