What distinguishes a period and irregular bleeding during a pregnancy?

I had sex 10 weeks ago, and haven't had it since. I've had what I thought seemed like 2 normal periods that had normal start and ends dates. I keep reading that woman can still be pregnant and have what seems like a normal period. Espicially in their first weeks of pregnancy. I haven't had any morning sickness or anything. Could I be pregnant?
