Hi nenelover12

Thanks for your post!

I am assuming this affects both your nipples equally? It sounds like it does, rather than being primarily on one side. And how long has this been like this? Is it pretty recent, or longtime? (If it's recent, think back -- has anything changed recently? Do you sleep on your stomach more? You're exercising longer or with more intensity?)

Do you exercise or run? Do you have a poorly fitting bra or do you go without? A bra that is too small or that creates friction on your nipples can be a cause of pain.

No discharges from your nipples, is that correct?

This could be hormonal in nature - and if you are in the last two weeks of your cycle, it could be related to your menstrual cycle.

It's a good idea to talk to your doctor about why this may be happening if it's ongoing.
