I've recently noticed a sort of slime when I go to the bathroom. It is normally clear, and very rarely whitish, and it doesnt give off much of a scent. I've never experienced this before and have no idea what it means. Should I be worried?

Hello, and thank you for sharing your question with the community.  I understand how worried you must be feeling right now.  I'd love to give you some information that will put your mind at ease.

Normal vaginal discharge can be thick, clear, or whitish.  This discharge serves is a way for the vagina to carry away dead cells and bacteria.  Its the vagina's way of keeping clean in order to prevent infections.  You have no need to worry.

As you get older this kind of discharge is more regular.  You can stay clean by using small daily pads.  It is also helpful to carry a small pack of baby wipes in your purse if you wish to stay extra clean.

Let us know if you have any more questions.
