What happens if you take 3 of your birth control pills at once?

I was wondering what happens if you forgot to take 2 of your birth control pills and you decide to take three of them in one dose without calling your doctor first? The birth control pill that I am currently taking is Yasmin.

Hi. I've been on birth control for the last three years and tonight was the first time that I screwed up. I always take my pills right before I go to bed. I missed one day of birth control pills so I took two pills tonight as scheduled. However, I accidentally took another pill tonight, thinking it was tomorrow night that I missed already so that's 3 pills in one night. I am very confused now. Do I take another pill tomorrow night as scheduled? Or do i skip it? Thank you!!

I missed my pill yesterday, so I took two pills early this morning. Somehow I thought I didn't take my pill for the day so I took another one at lunch. I took a total of three pills today. Do I need to consult my doctor????

I somehow forgot three days in a row of my birth control, and took all three of them this morning at 5:30am when I started spotted and realized what had happened. I'm planning to take today's tonight (as I normally do). This is in an attempt to stop my period because my guy and I were going to have sex today, but it's probably futile. My question is - I take Yaz (or, Gianvi), so the normal amount of placebos is 4 pills. So if I just consider the past three days as having been the placebos, could I go straight to a new pack without needing extra protection for seven days? I've taken my birth control faithfully, every single night at 8pm, for ten years - I can't believe I forgot for three days.

Same Anonymous here - After taking the three pills, I stopped spotting and haven't had any bleeding for the rest of the day. I took tonight's pill and am hoping that everything is ok (it's Christmas so no pharmacies or doctors were open today, so I couldn't call anyone to ask for help). But, would sex without a condom still warrant morning after pills in this situation? Would I still need to throw out this pack and start a new one, or is finishing this pack up ok (skipping the placebos and going straight to the next one)?

Hey,
I accidentally doubled up on my pill last week and again at the weekend (thinking I'd forgottenwhen I hadn't) and now I'm experiencing really painful cramping and I almost feel like I need tis strain for the toilet whilst there's a pinky discharge, is this normal or should I be more concerned?
