What if I have a little bit of blood in my stool

Thank you for your post! 

Blood in the stool could be from a couple of things. One is that you may have hemorrhoids (a common cause of blood in the stool) that could be external or internal and may need treatment. 

Another issue is that you may have something wrong in your colon that is causing this bleeding. 

Constipation, anal fissures, anal sex and polyps could also be causes. 

Please see a doctor for an evaluation. Once you know why this is occuring, you can get it treated.
