Dear Kaitlyne

Thanks for your question and welcome!

I too, have battled adult acne and beat it!

There is no one moisturizer that is better than anything else - it kind of comes down to personal preference.

If you are over 30, invest in a fairly rich night cream that has plenty of moisturizing properties that can restore elasticity to your skin or at least allow it to feel soft but firm. I don't know if anti-acne moisturizers exist but truth be told, most independent studies show a lot of moisturizers to be pretty much the same and never quite deliver all their promises.

For better results, try going fragrance and dye free and as natural as possible, without parabens or chemicals. Green tea and Vitamin E additions are a good idea too. There are many natural or organic options out there so a search on the internet should be pretty easy. Very important is to use a moisturizer with SPF in it, or put it on before going out. A little sun is important to keep us healthy but the sun is not your face's friend! This will do your skin a great favor.
And as always, lots of water, fresh fruits and vegetables and NO SMOKING are a must!

If you a an animal lover, always buy beauty products that are not tested on animals, nor contain any ingredients that were. Peta's website can help you with this.

Let us know what you find!
