Basically I had sex a week before my period an now my period is 4 days late.. I’ve done a test witch says negative. Is there a chance I could be pregnant but it’s to early to
Tell? I’m very confused. I’ve never had a late period. 3 past days I had lower cramps on/off but still nothing has came. Shall I re-test in another few days?.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Sex a week before a period is generally safe but no time is perfectly safe as the body can change for any number of reasons, causing ovulation to change.

A pregnancy test is accurate 14+ days after sex, for most women. It's a good idea to test in another 3-4 days so you know where you stand.
Good luck!
