According to the Mayo Clinic, "most people with Hurthle Cell Cancer have a good prognosis", but this depends on many factors: stage of cancer once it was discovered, whether the cancer spread to other parts of the body, and many other variables.

What information have the doctors provided? Can you tell us more about your condition, surgery, treatment and recovery?

you can read more (it is spelled Hurthle, with an "l" instead of an "i") at: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hurthle-cell-cancer/DS00660
