Hi Anon

Thanks for your post!

I'm not sure what you mean about what is the "system" of breast cancer but" breast cancer is a disease in which cancer cells grow in the breast tissue.

Cancer occurs when cells in the body divide without control or order. If cells keep dividing uncontrollably, a mass of tissue forms. This is called a growth or tumor. The term cancer refers to malignant tumors. They can invade nearby tissue and spread to other parts of the body."

You can read a lot more on our special breast cancer page here: http://www.empowher.com/condition/breast-cancer

As to why your breasts may itch - it could be for many regions - a bad fitting bra, sweating, dry skin or irritants like laundry detergent or the kind of soap/body wash you use - among other reasons.

Breast pain has many reasons - you can read much on that here: http://www.empowher.com/condition/breast-pain

If you notice your breast pain happens in the week before your period, this is a common occurrence in women.

How old are you, Anon? Are you making sure you are maintaining breast health by month self check ups or mammograms if needed? Do you eat well? Have you found any lumps in your breasts or underarm area?

Best,
~Susan
