Hi
I am a 32 year old female. My work is highly stressful as an investment banker and I think that this is the cause of my symptoms but I am not sure.
For the past 3 - 4 weeks I have been having a fever on and of and I am extremely tired all the time. I also started to get some sort of pigmentation on my face, across my nose and cheeks.

Please can you tell me what the problem is?
Thank you
Rachel

I have that from anxiety and panic attacks. I'm 40 and just changed doctors and he did a full blood work up and it came back positive for Epstein Barr Virus, CMV Virus & Celiac disease. It was misdiagnosed for so long that I have all the sever secondary autoimmune disorders. My doctor did full blood work and also he asked for my entire medical history which lead him to screen for Lupus, Lymes Disease, Cmv, Epstein Barr Virus and these are so often with today's care over looked and so often misdiagnosed that when found it's usually progressed into a more serious illness. I didn't realize all the years prior when taking blood that it wasn't found because every test is precise and has to be ordered it doesn't just show up.

Hi Rachel,

Thank you for contacting EmpowHer today.

Some of this may be stress related, however, the rash and fever are a real concern. It's possibly a viral infection, but to rule out any underlying condition, a visit to your doctor is advised.

Best,
Helena
