What's going in?

I've been so confused and have so many questions since this because I'm new to it all.. I had unprotected sex for the first time the 15th of July, the day right after my period ended my period was from the 10-14. He had already ejaculated before and cleaned his penis off and then put it in me. It was only for a little and he pulled out before he was even gonna cm. Just incase I took a Plan B within the first 12 hours. My app told me I wasn't close to being fertile or ovulating because I had just gotten off my period But later changed and said my first fertile day was the 16 and ovulation day the 21? I've had different discharges and bled 5 days after the plan b, my periods due in 8 days now and last month I was 3 days late from the 28 day cycle it said 31. I was very stressed so maybe that's why it was late, but idk. So what's going? Is everything good because I don't wanna be pregnant and been so anxious and scared. I've had symptoms that seem like pregnancy symptoms but I think they're from the plan b but idk I'm scared and can't stop thinking about this.

Dear j0371,

Thank you for writing today.

Firstly, if you don't want to become pregnant, insist on a condom. Emergency contraception is not to be used as a regular form birth control.

Emergency contraceptives are up to 95% effective when taken as prescribed within the first 24 hours, so the risk is very small. Side effects can include stomach aches, headaches, nausea and a general feeling of being unwell. Symptoms usually start 2-7 days after taking the medication and may or may not include bleeding or spotting. Not all women get symptoms. If you don’t get your next period within a week or so of its expected date, a pregnancy test is recommended. It can cause your period to be early or late, have a lighter or a heavier flow so be aware of this.

Did the plan b still work the same since I took it the day before my app said I was fertile? It was a regular day, the day after my period, and then the next it said was my first fertile day?

Hi again,

You have been helped several times recently. Once a question has been sufficiently answered, we need to move on. I suggest you contact your doctor and have a long talk about sex and sexual health, including birth control options.
