Hi. Am 21 yrs old. And i'm having tummy problems. I dont know if its cause of the sex. I had sex 4 days after my period. Which last about 5 days. Today is the 18th day since i had sex. And im feeling a bit weird. After sex. I got constipated for a while. And idk if i still am but i'm eating fiber foods and drinking lots of water.. i heard that constipation can make u feel nausated. But i had sex. And idk if that can be the cause as well. I'm scared. Please help. My period is suppose to come in the next 4-6 days from this post.

Hello sharshar,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us.

I cannot say for certain if your symptoms are gastrointestinal or premenstrual. Have you ever felt this way before? Have your bowel movements returned to normal?

Try to be calm. Wait for your period to start. If it is late by at least seven days, test for pregnancy. You could test in the next day or two with an early response pregnancy test. Either way, test in the morning. Use the first urine when you wake up. It is concentrated and gives the best result.

Please let me know what happens.

Regards,
Maryann
