What's wrong with me??

I have an auto immune disease called Morgellen's and can find no help for it. I have had this for over 6 years and it is very painful and tends to cause infection easily. I am 70 years old and live on a very limited income. I only have medicare for insurance. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance for any help or answers. Linda Riner {content removed by moderator}.

Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. I found an organization that specializes in research about Morgellons Disease which you can find the information here http://morgellons.org/. This link also provides information and current research that is being conducted by the Center of Disease Control.

There appears to be question about possible linkage or misdiagnosis based on Lyme Disease also which I am not certain if you have been tested for this separately. I hope this above information helps. Please keep us posted.
