i'm trying to eat healthy. i'm vegetarian. which is a better choice for breakfast....3 egg white omelette with veggies, home fries and toast or a egg and cheese on a bagel. or french toast or pancakes.

Welcome to EmpowHER. Egg whites are low in calories and high in protein. Scramble whole eggs or make them into an omelet with sauteed vegetables and low-fat cheese. Since you are vegetarian, you need as much protein as possible. You might also want to pick food low in fat and whole grains instead of refined grain for breakfast. Such as, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, rye or cereal. Hope this was helpful?

thank you. during the spring and summer i have a parfait for breakfast. i used vanilla low fat greek yogurt, fresh berries and granola. in the winter i do oatmeal. i eat breakfast out 2 days a week, some places have a good parfait and some don't. thank you for the help
