Hello and thank you for sharing your question.

In most cases kidney cysts do not need treatment.  But you should allow your doctor to tell you whether they require treatment or not.  Surgery for kidney cysts, is a simple procedure of puncturing, and draining the cysts.

It is not necessary to avoid any particular medication because of the cysts.  However, having a stone does indicate that your left kidney will need to work harder to process medication than would a healthy kidney.  If you are on medication and want to stop taking them because of the stones; you should ask your doctor first if you can.
