Thanks for your question! 

In general (and we can only speak generally) IUDs are fine to use when breastfeeding and cause no adverse effects in terms of interfering with breastfeeding or preventing pregnancy. 

Of course, there is always a case or more where breastfeeding became an issue but this could have happened regardless of feeding. 

Talk to your doctor about your options - most should work just fine for you.
