Sometimes, the uterine lining does not always separate at a steady pace. Your period may stop then start up again within a day or so until it ends. As long as your period is otherwise normal in duration (typically 3-7 days) and flow, it's nothing to worry about. If you see this is happening often and you are still concerned, mention it to your doctor.
