Why do I feel down, moody & emotional all the time??

Hey, Im 22 and every now and then, i get upset for no reason, feel really low & emotional. when me and my boyfriend have a row, even a tiny simple one, i feel its been way worse and cry uncontrollably for ages. i feel like im really moody all the time to everyone and i have no idea why. i have the implant in near 3 years (due to come out in December) and i thought it was it that was causing the problem, but im not sure. anyone like this or know what would be going on? its really getting to me. i want to be happy because i have such great things going on but i always just feel so down.

Hi Silyan,

I am sorry you are experiencing so many issues but thank you for your question. You should certainly make an appointment with your doctor as there may certainly be a underlying issue with your birth control and perhaps you should use something else. Hormonal changes (that birth control causes) could certainly be mood changing although depression may be another reason. The best thing would be to contact your doctor.
