Hi, Samslife,

I have a question for you -- where exactly are you pressing on your neck? When you say it throbs, are you feeling your actual pulse, or is that just your description of the pain leaving and coming back? (I guess I am asking you if it seems to be heartbeat-related?)

Is this on the side of your neck? The back? The front, where your throat is?

How often do you feel this pain? Have you noticed whether any specific event sets it off, like eating or lying down?

Your hormones were tested when?

And am I correct in believing that you've had this pain in your neck for almost three months but haven't yet asked your doctor about it?

Please get back to us with some more information and let us see what we can figure out for you.
