I am a 21 years old. I was working out about 2 years ago and heard something pop in my neck. The pain was terrible. After about a month, the pain went away. Then shortly after it came back again, not as bad but still painful. Then it went away again, and now for the past 2 years the pain in my neck goes in and out almost everyday and its more likely to happen if im using a computer. The pain i feel is only on the right side of my neck. I do not feel numbness or tingly and the pain does not affect any other area of my body except for the right side of my neck.

What could be causing this reoccurring neck pain & how do i get rid of it permanently?

Hi Beautiful,

Thank you for posting. It sounds like you injured your neck while exercising. Sometimes when we are doing abdominal crunches or anything else that involves the neck this can happen. Since this was 2 years ago, your pain is now considered chronic. It is likely that the pain comes back while you're on the computer due to posture or not taking breaks. If you go to your doctor, chances are he/she may suggest physical therapy, medications, or in a more severe case, surgery.
