And my pain starts from the inside of the top of my legs. Also i was diagnosed with diverticulitis is this pain connected with the pain i have in the inside of my legs? I was also diagnosed with tarsal tunnel syndrome is this also connected to my pain?

The most common causes of knee swelling and pain are injuries, osteoarthritis, and bursitis as well as less common causes, such as Baker's cysts and reactive arthritis. Other health conditions can also affect the legs and feet. See your doctor for a thorough evaluation that may include x-rays and blood tests.
