Why does it look like I have a bruise right under my cheekbones?

So right under my cheekbones it looks like I have a bruise. Some days you can see it really good, and some it is really faint. It is on both sides of my face, my right side you can usually see more. I haven't got hit in the face or anything. I started noticing it about 5 months ago, and still even then and ever I haven't got hit in the face or anything. What could this be from?
