why is my period so heavy?

i just started for the first time, im 15 years old. i have bled through 2 pairs of pants at school, went through 2 boxes of tampons, used pads liners, everything i can. yet i still bleed throuigh. i dont know why this is hapening but i need answers pronto!

Thanks for sharing what you are experiencing.

Unfortunately, no one on the Internet can tell you why you're having an extremely heavy period. You need to see your medical provider as soon as possible to get the answers and help that you need.

You may be dealing with a condition known as Menorrhagia, a term for abnormally heavy periods, or you may be dealing with something else. You really need to see a doctor to determine why you are having such heavy bleeding. Will you make an appointment right away? You are not too young to see a gynecologist.
