I've always been a little up tight about sex
although I do have 2 children and have been
with my husband 3yrs.... last night I was open to
really rough sex. . during.. it felt like he was really too
deep and was hitting something.... Afterwards
while washing off I noticed a really thin piece of
what looked like the sac around a fetus or a
piece of broken condition (I'm sure it was not
that) it just was white and really thin ....I have no

signs of yeast infection or STDs I'm worried he
may have ripped something due to him going
too deep and rough I'm not bleeding or in any pain just want to know if this is normal and what was it or if I should be even be worried... Help
please!

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to our community for help with your concern. I can appreciate how you must feel. Anything abnormal can be alarming.

What you noticed may have been a small piece of your vaginal lining.
Rough sex can cause lacerations or tears in the vagina. Rough thrusting can also cause tears and bruising in the very soft structures of your perineum.

Wait and watch. If you notice vaginal bleeding and start experiencing pain, please consult your gynecologist. Otherwise, refrain from sexual intercourse for at least a week to allow for healing.

Regards,
Maryann
