Q:

Would this type of anxiety be serious?

I get extremely nervious/anxious whenever I go into large public places. Or; whenever walking into something unexpected and not knowing what I need to do for the day. I have low self-esteem, and no matter how many times i "overcome" my anxiety, it always returns for the same reason[s]. Could this be seriously unhealthy?

Hi,
When anxiety negatively impacts and impedes your life, yes, it is serious. Have you sought professional counseling to cope with your issues? If not, I suggest that you find a counselor who can help you overcome the overwhelming and debilitating anxiety and rebuild your self-esteem. This may be a problem that you cannot overcome without professional help.
