i know this might seem like a really strange question. but i religiously take my pills everyday for the past months. however, in my first week this month, i popped a pill in my mouth but i was upstairs and couldnt find water. so i went downstairs to get water. But i think the pill already melted in my mouth. I drank water anyway thinking it will wash down whatever's left of the pill. could that be considered a missed pill? i took the pills in the following days and a week after had intercourse. should i be worried? thank you

Hi emcee,
Depending on how long you had the pill in your mouth, it may have just gotten smaller and you swallowed it unknowingly. Either way, it was ingested. I wouldn't worry about this too much since you say you never miss your pills. You should still be protected against pregnancy.
