Barbara Shares If Uterine Cancer Changed Her Life (VIDEO)

Barbara explains if having uterine cancer has changed her life.

Barbara:
To be honest with you, really, I don’t know that it really changed my life all that much. At this point, it changed my life as far as recovery goes. It changed my life because, well, uterine cancer changed my life in as much as I am now more aware of my health.

I know that I need to watch out for myself. I now come back here to the Cancer Treatment Center of America to have a scan every three months to make sure that I am still healthy per my doctor and it’s good to know that everything is where it’s supposed to be and as it should be. So that makes me feel very comfortable and I know that she is watching out for me all the time.

The doctors here are just amazing and I trust her so completely so, I know that I am well cared for. Other than that, I know that I still need to build up my body and I need to be stronger and more healthful and some of the things that I do. But, it’s made me so much more aware of my body that I know I am taking much better care of myself now.
