Joanna:
It’s really not that bad. It’s probably one of the better things. I mean, for pregnancy, it’s normally outside on the belly, and they just put some gel that’s kind of cold on your stomach, and then they rub this thing across your stomach. And then it’s pretty cool because you get to see your baby. And usually at that point you get to hear the heartbeat as well, which is also pretty cool.

During one of my ultrasounds we found out the sex of the baby. So I actually joked that they call it the “golden arches.” I guess that’s how it looks on the ultrasound, so we had golden arches. So then we found out we were having a girl, which is I was thrilled. You know, of course it just was important that the baby be healthy, but I thought a girl was pretty cool
