Dear Abby:
I am so glad you asked me that question. My advice to an Alzheimer’s caregiver, whether it’s a woman or a man, is do not try to do it all alone. It’s so important for your own health that you reach out, you join a support group and you involve yourself with other people who are going through this process because it is a process and it will save your health, it will save your strength, and it will save your sanity. Don’t try to do it alone.
