Ellen:
I am in remission and I am hopeful and optimistic, sometimes guardedly so, it’s scary because the recurrence is high, but as the chemotherapy nurse says at my doctor’s office, “We don’t treat the statistics, we treat the person,” and so I have to live by that and feel good about my prognosis.
