Ellen:
I think for me personally, I looked at things where I had to really kind of clean out the closet in my head which was filled with a lot of previous negative energy. The interesting part is that my greatest negative energy was on my mother who had died almost a year to the day prior to my diagnosis, and as I looked back, she died of what they called stomach cancer but, we don’t know that it may not have been ovarian cancer because for years she was treated for classic irritable bowel syndrome, spastic bowel, had problems with bathroom issues, diarrhea, constipation.
I look back and I think, “Oh my god, she had ovarian cancer,” and I can’t remember when the last time she went to a gynecologist is and at her age I don’t think they really looked for ovarian cancer. They just treated her with conventional medicine for conditions that really, probably more the actual case. I had lot in energy on that after my mom died, not on her diagnosis but, just kind of the whole process of her passing, and our relationship, and so I had to really get rid of all that negativity.
I also believed that the universe works in amazing ways and I was in a funk for a year before my diagnosis. I kind of knew what I wanted in life but, the big light bulb wasn’t going off and sometimes I have to be hit in the head for something to make great changes.
