Ellen:
First I had a complete hysterectomy, the ovaries, the uterus, everything gone which was actually the scariest part because there are so many things that go through your mind when you are going to have hysterectomy and it was also being put out for hours which scared me but, after that I went through six treatments every, once every three weeks of carboplatin and Taxol and it was much easier than I ever expected.
You hear the talks of people from years ago; how sick they would get, how debilitating it was, but it was really just downtime for me for three days once every three weeks, so I kind of planned my schedule around that and knew that I would have a few bad days and everything else was going to be pretty normal for me.
