VIDEO - HERSTORY: Jeanette Shares How She Controls Her Asthma

Jeanette describes her treatment regiment controlling her asthma.

Jeanette:
I only use an inhaler. It’s an Albuterol; it’s prescription. I have to use it maybe once a week or once every two weeks, as needed. I don’t take any other medication for the asthma. The inhaler works when I need it the most.

Sometimes if I have a complete breakout, which is once a year, then the doctor has to call in a prescription for Prednisone or something else to assist that, but the rest of the year I am fine.
