Kristian recalls if she became more self-conscious of her appearance because of her uterine fibroids.

Kristian:
I felt like when I saw women who were maybe 3 to 4, 6 months pregnant, I felt like, “Maybe I am pregnant, too?” I mean, just feeling uncomfortable and feeling self-conscious about myself and feeling like, there was always something wrong, that I am not 100% healthy. So, just not really wanting to be in a social surrounding as much because there was always something wrong. I never felt okay. I would leave early. Just socially, and probably, you know, relationship-wise as well, just making me feel very self-conscious about myself.
